Marti Webb & The Simon Webb Orchestra – Always There

We have already had the instrumental version of this song, which reached #21 in ’85. This vocal version did even better, reaching UK#13, but was down to #67 on this day in the 80s. It would hang around until the first week of the new year.

This is Simon’s third blog entry, with his last of 3 top 20 hits he had from ’76-’86.

Marti had 6 hits from ’80-’87, the biggest being her debut, “Take That Look Off Your Face”, which reached #3.
