This classic reached UK#4 in October, and was in the chart for the last time on this day in the 80s, at #69. It was Paul’s biggest solo hit, his 8th of 16 hits since ’72.

In the US, this reached #23, his 18th of 21 hits from ’61-’90, which included the ’75 #1 “50 Ways To Leave Your Lover”.
