Kim Wilde – You Keep Me Hanging On

This is the second time this song has been on the blog, as Diana Ross’s 60s original was in the charts in April.

Kim’s version was UK#2 for 2 weeks in November, which made it her joint biggest hit, her 12th of 32 from ’81-’96. It was in the chart for the last time on this day in the 80s, at #60.

In the US, it went one better, but it was her third of only five hits between ’81 and ’88.
